Tomorrow fans can breathe a sigh of relief, it seems the success of the locally made teen Sci fi flick has ensured that this local blockbuster is getting a sequel.
Stuart Beatie told reporters at the AfI Awards on Saturday " they've just asked me to write the sequel to Tomorrow, When The War Began"
Despite critics and industry types usually denying gongs for films of this genre, Tomorrow has been cleaning up at the AFI winning "Best Screenplay" among others and the Inside Film awards where it picked up best film.
The sequel would likely be based on the second of the seven books of tomorrow series.
